The deck and rail are made out of 8T cross-link Polyethylene (PE) foam that is 4 mm thick. Cross-link is one of the more durable materials available for deck materials. It is used on many boards because of its ability to not absorb water. It is a more compact and dense materials than most, thus it is more durable.
The core is a 2.2ˇ¨ pcf PE Plank at 50mm. We wouldnˇ¦t make a board that wouldnˇ¦t last so thatˇ¦s why we used PE foam in the core. PE has been around since the 70ˇ¦s and is used in most bodyboards today as it is considered the standard. A stinger will help it last even longer.
High density polyethylene (HDPE) makes up the bottom of the Fish Boogie/Bodyboard PE-42ˇ¨. This material is very slick and will help your board move very fluidly through the ocean waters.
This bodyboard features a bat tail. The bat tail will provide you with lots of maneuverability that doesnˇ¦t come with a crescent tail board. This will enable you to do tight spins and move through the face much more easily.
